Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where is the radio station located on campus?

A: WDJM is located on the 4th Floor of the McCarthy Center at Framingham State University.

Q: What is the frequency of WDJM so that I can tune in?

A: WDJM can be heard on 91.3 FM.

Q: How can I broadcast my own show on WDJM?

A: Very easily! Simply come to one of our club meetings which are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 1:30 PM in room CC419! After you complete 6 training hours and a 1-hour test out, you are given your very own 2 hour time slot each week so you can broadcast your own show!

Q: How far can the station be heard?
A: We broadcast at 100 Watts from a 27 meter HAAT transmitter. This means that we have roughly a 5-10 mile radius from the station in any given direction, depending on the strength of your radio antenna. However, the station is now streaming online, so if you have a computer with internet access, you can listen to WDJM anywhere in the world!

Q: What types of events does WDJM host on campus?

A: WDJM is always looking to host new and entertaining events for the students on campus. We host annual dances, trivia nights, video game tournaments, and we DJ many other events on campus as well. We are also hoping to start hosting an annual Battle of the Bands and/or Talent Show.
